Want to do something totally different from your regular workout? One local radio station account executive discovered TITLE Boxing Club is the perfect combination for a total body and mind workout.
For Her Body
Mindi is already in good body shape. So she was looking for a way to tone her body without losing weight, and without jumping on a treadmill. She discovered TITLE Boxing Club in January—when she started working on their advertising account—and became one of the club’s first members. Now instead of dragging herself to a gym, this wife, mother and business professional looks forward to classes every week.
You’ll find her here at least two or three times a week. She takes boxing classes at night with instructors Melvin Wesley or Blydell Martin. The music, organization, group environment and one-on-one instruction help make her visits worthwhile and it’s starting to show.
“People are asking me if I’ve lost weight,” explains Mindi. “I don’t think I’ve lost weight, but I’m finally getting tone.”
Her arms, abdominals and legs have more definition, which she is most happy about.
Mindi enjoys her workouts so much; she has already recommended many people, like her clients and neighbors.
“I love it, I totally believe in it,” she said. “It’s the best workout I have ever had. I found muscles that I didn’t even know I had.”
For Her Mind
TITLE Boxing Club is much more than a fitness gym. Using the fundamentals and techniques of the pros, members here build confidence and learn self-defense while building a fit body. Mindi is no exception.
“There is a certain sense of empowerment that comes with boxing,” she said. “You never know if you will need it, but it is a great form of self defense. You leave with self-confidence, which is great, especially as a woman.”
She said it makes her feel good that if she does ever get into any bad situation, she can defend herself.
“God forbid something should happen but if it did, I feel comfortable that I could save myself,” she said.
