Trainer/Staff Bio
Ace has been involved in sports since he was 7 years old. As a child, Ace started learning karate and made it to brown belt before discovering the sport of Boxing. He grew up idolizing Mike Tyson, and by the time he became a teenager, Ace started training in a local boxing gym. It was here where his boxing career began, quickly getting his license to compete through ABA. Once in college at the University of Alabama, Ace joined Skyy Promotions Boxing Gym and started training under Jay Deas, former WBC Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder’s current trainer. In 2006, Ace achieved his main goal for the sport by winning his first Golden Gloves Championship. He was on the same team as Deontay Wilder, and had the privilege to train with him daily. Now, Ace enjoys training clients around Ann Arbor either 1 on 1, or in a class setting at Title Boxing Club.

My why:
I believe in any workout regimen that is derived from the spot of boxing.
What gives me my fighting spirit:
Personal mental and physical fitness so that I can live a long, happy life with my family.





Trainer/Staff Bio
Alexander holds a degree in sports medicine and is a certified personal trainer. He lives by the mantra of pushing yourself to be better every time you train and would describe his training style as authentic and constructive. He became a trainer at Title to help give people a healthy fitness outlet and help clients better themselves every day. He gets his fighting spirit and his passion for fitness from pushing through past physical injuries and trying to constantly improve himself.

Trainer/Staff Bio
Rachel loves to share her passion with others- teaching and fitness. After receiving her Bachelors’s and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education, Rachel now teaches first grade and incorporates a lot of movement throughout her day! Since Rachel has always led an active lifestyle from playing sports like soccer and running track to constantly trying new workouts, Rachel was inspired to become a trainer. Rachel was a trainer at a HIIT/kickboxing gym for a year and a half before finding her new home with TITLE.

My why:
Having an active lifestyle is important to me and I love sharing my passion with others while making a positive impact.
What gives me my fighting spirit:
The fear of having an average or boring life.

Trainer/Staff Bio
Justin is a Michigan State alumni who moved to the Ann Arbor area to work in the Accessibility field for a local company. When he was younger, Justin used to play basketball, baseball and was a varsity quarterback. After being a TITLE member for over 2 years, Justin decided to become a part of the TITLE team!

I loved coming to classes at TITLE and wanted to contribute to the club’s amazing environment!

Being a cancer survivor

Trainer/Staff Bio
Kady was the General Manager at the Ann Arbor club from 2018-2022, and now one of TITLE’s favorite trainers. She started training to fill in for classes when needed and ending up loving it! She was a TITLE member for 3 years while in college. Kady then ended up working front desk at the club. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree is Communications. Kady moved to Los Angeles and then New York to work in the entertainment industry. She eventually made her way back in Michigan and started back up at TITLE Ann Arbor moving her way up to management.

"Anything that's human is mentionable, and anything mentionable can be more manageable."
My training style is:

My why:
My family! They are pretty great and help keep me motivated.
What gives me my fighting spirit:
Not letting my mental illness hold me back. I have embraced my "crazy" but it does not define me.

Trainer/Staff Bio
Reggie is a professional boxer and currently undefeated in the welterweight class. He boxed 5 years before going pro. As an amateur boxer he won a National College Boxing Championship and went to Golden Gloves Nationals. Reggie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. During his off time from boxing Reggie is usually relaxing with friends having good conversation!

My why:
I wanted to help others understand boxing but also have fun while doing it!
What gives me my fighting spirit:
Family and the support of my friends

Trainer/Staff Bio
Brigit has been involved in fitness through running, yoga, and Pilates since childhood and has found her love for boxing here at TITLE. She works as an occupational therapist at Michigan Medicine. As an OT, Brigit teaches goal-oriented exercise and balance programs to many clients recovering from illness or injury. Her client-centered programs focus on proper body mechanics and long-term health.

My why:
I became a TITLE trainer because I love teaching and helping others achieve their goals. I also love the community at TITLE Ann Arbor and want to help it thrive.
What gives me my fighting spirit:
Not letting depression and anxiety keep me from living the life I want.

Trainer/Staff Bio
Ahmad is a Michigan State University Alumnus and has been living and working in the Ann Arbor area for the past few years within the Recruiting & Staffing Industry. When Ahmad was younger, he was heavily involved in Tae Kwon Do and earned a Black Belt. He also enjoys playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, and weightlifting. Ahmad started as a member at TITLE Boxing Club Ann Arbor last year.

“Every day it gets a little easier… But you gotta do it every day — that's the hard part. But it does get easier.” AND "Rest if you must, but don't you quit!"

My why:
I became a TITLE Trainer because I wanted to challenge myself and step outside of my comfort zone. I've always cared about health and wellness but never took it seriously until recently. It also helps that boxing is a ton of fun!
What gives me my fighting spirit:
My fighting spirit comes from wanting to be the best version of myself every day. I am the eldest of 8 kids and have always been responsible for my family and younger siblings. Quitting is not an option for me.

Dave Lewan has been the owner of “TITLE A2” since October of 2018. He brings over 25 years of senior management and executive leadership experience in the technology industry, with a focus on experience management strategies for large global organizations. Today, he brings that same passion for delivering the optimal Member Experience to Boxers in Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County.
Dave is the proud father of two sons, Taylor (former Michigan Wolverine All-American) and Bryce. He is also the grandfather of “the two cutest little girls in the world”.
As the owner of TITLE Boxing Club of Ann Arbor, Dave and his team are focused on delivering the toughest workout in the area, while serving the community with core causes such as Boxing for Parkinson’s patients, the Club’s annual Fight for the Girls campaign as well as the Magic of Christmas.
