My personal mantra
You are stronger than you think!
My training style is:
energetic
My why:
I became a trainer to help people understand their full potential. Working out is more than a physical activity, it’s also understanding the strength and power one has.
What gives me my fighting spirit:
Like everyone in this world, life has not been easy but remembering to fight keeps me going.

My city

Trainer/Staff Bio
Originally from Lithuania, Urte moved to Cincinnati with her parents where she trained in classical ballet and competition dance for 14 years. After high school, she moved to Chicago to attend DePaul University and to pursue a career in pharmacy. During her first year at DePaul, Urte found a passion for training others when she started teaching dance. She discovered TITLE Boxing her second week in Chicago and rapidly fell in love with TITLE’s energetic workouts, as well as the community that TITLE has built
My personal mantra
Get comfortable with being uncomfortable
My training style is:
energetic
My why:
My goal is to help people be comfortable in their bodies. I think one of the best ways to achieve this is to create an exercise environment where we can escape our day-to-day lives to take a moment for ourselves—whether that means mental relaxation, emotional rejuvenation, or something else.

Moses is born and raised in Chicago. He began his career working for the Office of State Appellate Defenders of Cook County. He was there for two years before deciding to make a transition into the fitness industry. He received his ACE Personal Training certification and began coaching at TITLE in the suburbs. Around the same time, he also started training as an amateur boxer. Outside of boxing, Moses has a passion for travel and music, and he plays several instruments, including violin, viola, piano and bass.
My personal mantra
Who you are is defined by what you you’re willing to struggle for – Make sure every day you do what matters most. When you know what matters most, everything makes sense. When you don’t know what matters most, anything makes sense.
My training style is:
connected
My why:
I began working with TITLE Boxing Club in 2013. Over the years, I worked in corporate settings and different industries, but TITLE has always been a second home. 5 years later, I’m back with TITLE in Chicago Lincoln Park and Wicker Park. TITLE has always been a place of joy for me – everything from teaching classes, to meeting new and amazing people that share the same goals, passions, and struggles as I do. I hope to continue making a positive impact on people’s lives as much as they have made an impact on mine.

Trainer/Staff Bio

My personal mantra
Make your own happiness your number one priority
My training style is:
authentic
My why:
I became a trainer because I love teaching and I love martial arts. I can do two things that I love at the same time while also helping others achieve their own goals.
What gives me my fighting spirit:
Every day is a battle and we have to always train our body for that fight physically and mentally.

Trainer/Staff Bio
Sophia is a former state high-school swimmer who studied Journalism at Mizzou. (Fight Tiger!) Outside of her full-time marketing job, she loves all things fitness – from hiking and running to lifting and mobility training. As a three-time marathoner who’s looking to run all six major marathons, she’s someone who won’t shy away from a physical challenge – big or small.
My personal mantra
Keep on swimming!
My training style is:
authentic
My why:
I became a trainer at TITLE Boxing Club because I love sharing my love for healthy living and fitness experience with others. I used to be a swim coach for 4 years, and I loved being able to help my athletes accomplish their goals and inspire them to keep pushing higher. I love getting the opportunity to do this through different group-fitness classes at TITLE.
What gives me my fighting spirit:
I have Type 1 diabetes, which encourages me to keep pushing myself and my limits.

Trainer/Staff Bio
Born and raised in Wilmington, NC, Kevin’s fitness journey started as early as church league basketball in his youth. Continuing with basketball through high school, he realized basketball wasn’t a suitable option of income for the future, so he decided to get into acting/comedy (a much more reasonable industry to break into). Skateboarding and hopping fences kept him in-shape through high school as he became immersed in the arts. In college, intramural basketball, ultimate Frisbee and dominating other theater majors in most sports kept him in shape. He moved to Chicago in hopes of pursuing acting, which is when he discovered TITLE and started working in sales. After continuing to take classes and working with the fantastic training staff, Kevin soon found that he knew the punches and could use a microphone. You may find him to this day working out at TITLE or practicing writing in the third person.
My personal mantra
I have a million I love but I'll keep it to three. 1. “Calm seas have never made a good sailor.” 2. ”The best things in life aren't things.” (I don’t know who said this, but I heard it from my father and want to keep it that way.) 3. ”Give a man a fire, and he's warm for the night. Set him on fire, and he's warm for the rest of his life" - Terry Pratchett
My training style is:
Fun, Connected
My why:
I've been a big fan of boxing for a few years now and a friend of mine told me a boxing gym was hiring so I applied. I guess that's the easiest way to say how I ended up at Title. What keeps me coming back is my co-workers and members I've become friendly with. Although I am quick to make jokes I really do like everyone I get the chance to interact with at Title. I couldn't have been more lucky to end up working here because It's a great gym that offers a great workout.
What gives me my fighting spirit:
My family. Their sincerity in their friendliness and humor as well as their compassion and work ethic has influenced how I approach my classes.

Trainer/Staff Bio
Originally from Chicago, Katie moved to New York City directly after high school to attend the Intern Affiliate Program at the Broadway Dance Center. While living in New York, she discovered her love for fitness and nutrition, eventually finding herself in the gym than in the dance studio. She moved home and in 2010 received a diploma in personal training and nutrition from the National Personal Training Institute. Truly passionate about what she does, Katie spends her free time teaching herself different training styles, learning about body mechanics and understanding the benefits of different workouts. She got into boxing in 2013 and joined the TITLE team when the Lincoln Park located opened in 2014. A year into her job with TITLE, Katie was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Rheumatoid Arthritis, which at one point led her to take a leave of absence from teaching. That time away is what made Katie realize just how much she loves fitness, boxing and training others. She credits the boxing workout with giving her both the mental and physical strength to approach life with a debilitating disease.
My personal mantra
The only work out you will regret is the one you didn't do.
My training style is:
Energetic
My why:
I was ready for a new challenge in the fitness industry. Even though I had little boxing experience, I was open to learning and growing as a fitness professional. Teaching in general is something I've always been very passionate about, so to have the ability to teach boxing classes sounded like an amazing opportunity.
What gives me my fighting spirit:
Being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis has definitely brought out the fighter in me. Even though I have a very debilitating disease at a young age, I refuse to let it take over my life. I wanted to be an inspiration to people and let them know that no matter what life throws at you, don't ever give up!

Trainer/Staff Bio
Aidan began his fitness career in high school as a wrestler and a football player. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Lake Forest College where he played football and rugby. He earned the title of “All-Conference” for football and was president of his Lake Forest College Rugby Team. After graduating, Aidan served in the United States Marine Corps, during which time he was a lead martial arts and combat instructor. Aidan is currently a graduate student in the School of Education at DePaul University. He is pursuing a career as a high school history teacher. In addition to TITLE, Aidan also coaches high school wrestling and works as a fitness instructor at Chicago Neighborhood Fitness Centers.
My personal mantra
Walk softly and carry a big stick.
My training style is:
energetic
My why:
I went to one of TITLE's classes and loved the way everyone's energy built off of each other and made you want to work harder and applied for a position immediately after the class.
What gives me my fighting spirit:
I try to be a nice person which means I have to hold in a lot of aggression throughout the day. When I box or fight I can use that pent up anger. I like controlling my anger, not letting it control me.

Trainer/Staff Bio
Courtney is a NASM-certified personal trainer with 11+ years of group fitness, personal training, and overall coaching experience. She grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and attended the University of Arizona for college (Bear down!). As a lifelong athlete, Courtney started boxing in college to scratch that competitive itch and after moving home from college in 2012, found TITLE Boxing Club near her hometown and jumped at the opportunity to become a coach. Courtney has an intense passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals. She encourages you to dig deeper and acknowledge that you are capable of anything. She brings a high-energy to her classes, designed to push you and walk out of the club a little stronger than you walked in. When she is not behind the mic, she works as a sports marketing at an agency in Chicago.
My personal mantra
Be what most people aren't: consistent and disciplined.
My training style is:
transformative
My why:
After discovering TITLE, I could not get enough of the classes and continuing to improve as a boxer. Most importantly, I loved the community TITLE created and was eager to have a bigger role in it. I have been a trainer at TITLE since 2012 - starting at a different location initially and then finding my way to Lincoln Park as one of the first hires in 2014. Almost 12 years later and I can't get enough!
What gives me my fighting spirit:
Your body is the only thing you have from the moment you're born to the moment you die. It is the vehicle for how you live your life - mind, body and spirit. If I'm not showing up for myself in my own body, how can I expect to show up for the important people in my life? It is crucial for me to build strength physically and emotionally so I can continue to show up for those I love. Especially as a new Mom, I want to continue to be an example of this for my son.

Tara F.
I joined TITLE Boxing Club because I wanted to gain confidence. Now, I feel powerful and it’s a blast learning to throw a punch. This has been so much more than just a boxing class.
Kathleen I.
Great workout head to toe – cardio, muscle building, losing weight…it’s all right here. And the camaraderie you build with other members is second to none.
Daniel L.
Workouts are fun and taking your stress out by hitting a heavy bag is awesome.
Julie M.
I love this place! I had wanted to try boxing workouts for a while, but I was intimidated. I finally checked it out and I’ve been going ever since! Super fun and engaging workouts.
