Bryan

Bryan was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He as always been passionate about sports, especially boxing and basketball. As a youth, he and his family would gather one Saturday a month and watch boxing matches all night long. When he entered high school, he had the chance to meet the great boxer, Miguel Coto, which sparked his desire to pursue the sport. Every Saturday at 5:30am he and his friends would run alongside Coto then watch him train. The more he spent time training and spending time at the gym, the more his passion and motivation of becoming a better boxer grew. After high school, Bryan was not able to continue with the sport but went to Therapeutic massage school and learned how to work on every muscle in the body. Jennifer

A true country girl at heart, Jennifer was born and raised in eastern NC, and moved to MI in 2011. She played many sports growing up, but found a passion for contact sports later in life. Now a “retired” athlete, she is a veteran of the IWFL and WFA women’s football leagues, playing seven years total as a defensive back for the Carolina Phoenix and the Detroit Dark Angels. A coworker (and Title Boxing Club Member) told her about Title Boxing, and she fell in love with boxing after her very first class. Like football, boxing requires hard work, dedication, and determination. Like football, it’s very physical and fun!

My personal mantra:
Don’t put limits on what you can do! As Vince Lombardi said, “We would accomplish many more things if we did not think of them as impossible.”

My training style is:

My why:
I love the community at Title. I’m aware more and more that Title Boxing Club is a family—a family of motivators, encouragers, supporters, and cheerleaders. We push each other to do more than we could ever accomplish individually.

What gives me my fighting spirit:
The men and women in uniform who protect us every hour of every day, wherever they may serve. Knowing that they willingly put their lives on the line makes me push harder and give a little more, even when the going gets tough.

GAYLE

Monday October 15, 2018

If I can do it, so can you. I’d love to share my entire story about how I went from corporate America to personal trainer, as I’m confident - in one way or another - you’ll relate. But for now, I will only share a few highlights that may help you take your first step - or next step – to realizing what you’re capable of. Long story short… I lost more than 50 pounds, got rid of my aches and pains, became consistent with my nutrition and exercise regimen, got really strong (mind and body), became a role model for my children, reduced my body fat to top athlete levels, and once and for all, I got off the proverbial roller coaster and recognized my full potential. I accomplished these things all while raising my family and working in corporate America... and TITLE Boxing Club was, and continues to...

FAQ's

I’ve heard the classes are intense; do I need to be in great shape to do the workouts?

It doesn’t matter if you haven’t worked out in a while or have never boxed before, you can finish the workout feeling great! You’ll see that everyone goes at their own pace, but believe us that once you’re here, you’ll be inspired to give it your very best!

I don’t want to get hit; is this a contact workout?

No—not ever! Each person in class has their own heavy bag to workout on, plus their own space to move around the bag. Trust us, you won’t even realize anyone else is in the class because you’ll be so focused on the workout! And, rest easy, we never allow sparring or fighting at TITLE Boxing Club.

What makes TITLE different than other fitness studios?

Boxing is a great workout, perhaps one of the most challenging of all sports, and we want to bring you the intensity of the training, minus the impact. We’ll teach you how to roll with the punches by pushing you further than you thought possible.

I’m new to boxing; will someone show me the basics?

You bet! All of our classes are taught by instructors who will show you the ropes from the beginning. We’ll help you wrap your hands and walk you through the basic fundamentals. Everyone in class is at a different level, so take a deep breath and go at your own pace!
