Power Your Pursuit

At TITLE Boxing Club Oakland Central, we aim to honor the sport of kickboxing in the right way too. Expect punches, elbows, knees, and kicks of all sorts during this high-energy, full-body workout.

The flow of our signature kickboxing class remains the same as our boxing fitness classes. You burn calories through a progression of warm-up drills, shadowboxing, and HIIT exercises. You’ll also endure 3-minute rounds on the heavy bag and strength work.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN A KICKBOXING CLASS

Ramp-Up

Our kickboxing workouts start with mobility drills, simple calisthenics, and shadowboxing before progressing into some HIIT: strength, speed pushes, and plyometrics.

Bag Rounds & Active Recovery

The essence of this boxing workout takes place during the series of 3-minute rounds on the heavy bag. You’ll develop your skills by homing in on the Weekly Kickboxing Focus and supporting Combo of the Day.

You’ll build your fitness level by pushing through speed and power shot burnouts using all your strikes. After each bag round you’ll do an active recovery exercise to keep your heart rate up before the next bell rings. Recovery exercises can include calisthenics, strength, or HIIT.

Core & Strength

Your group fitness class will finish up the final minutes with traditional core and strength exercises. These exercises help you target, tone, and define your punching and kicking muscles.
