Meet the Team
Nikodim Danilyuk
Biography
Born and raised in a Russian speaking Slavic household, where I learned how to defend myself from a very young age. Who were my opponents? My brother and my sister, who, I very quickly learned, hit harder AND faster than any boxer I've ever went up against.
When I learned how to stand my ground against my ferocious siblings, I realized a career in fighting sports was right up my alley. Now I spend 5 to 6 days a week working out and training both myself and others, on how to get in shape, protect themselves, and stand up to tyrannical younger brothers. After all, every boxer makes the world a better place, and its a genuine pleasure working at a place and with people you genuinely love being around 💪😎
My Personal Mantra
As iron sharpens iron, so too does one man sharpen another
My Training Style Is
There's no such thing as tired! You can ALWAYS do one more rep, and one more set.
My Why
I've started and quit too many important things in my youth. Now, I don't just want to simply continue pursuing my hobbies, but excel at them!
What Gives Me My Fighting Spirit
My entire bloodline's inability to be "realistic" about their goals. Aim too high for realism to be able to pull you down baby 😎
Liz Evans
Biography
Hello! I’m Coach Liz, Seattle native, instructor with TBCR since day one. My interest in Boxing started while training for the 1996 Olympics at the Olympic Training Center. Our team cross trained with USA Boxing and I’ve been hooked ever since.
My back ground as a U.S. Navy Instructor and National TKD Team Athlete/Coach has provided me with the confidence to bring high energy motivation to you every time I step on the floor.
My Personal Mantra
"Show off your style cause you been here a while."
My Training Style Is
Everything is connected. The workout flows from the Ramp Up to the last End Burner.
My Why
I think everyone has that athlete mentality buried inside and it’s my goal to make it show with the above training style.
What Gives Me My Fighting Spirit
My coaching sprit comes from seeing everyone on the floor pushing through the workout that a few months ago would have been a no go. I enjoy seeing members and beginners giving max effort, challenging themselves, and finishing with a smile on their face or hands raised in the air.
Tyler "Action" Adams
Biography
I’m Tyler Adams, aka Action Adams. I’m originally from Long Island, New York.
My journey with martial arts and combat sports started in high school with wrestling. I have my blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu, and have been competing in Kickboxing and Muay Thai since 2018. I currently hold 3 amateur kickboxing belts and 1 amateur Muay Thai belt. If I’m gonna talk the talk, I should be able to walk the walk. I’m grateful to be able to be an athlete and coach full time.
My Personal Mantra
The only way out is through.
My Training Style Is
I aim for the perfect blend of technique and high intensity.
My Why
Growing up, I was not the best at sports or anything athletic. Not any good honestly. Constant losing and any lack of confidence did a number on my self esteem. Having that “Ah-Ha!” moment years later in Jiu-jitsu gave me hope that there truly was a path to believing In myself and changing myself for the better. Knowing that the magic feeling of success was on the other side of hard work, I kept chasing things that scared me, knowing I could do something about it.
What Gives Me My Fighting Spirit
Fear.
Evan Trewin
Biography
I’m a boxing and kickboxing coach with a passion for helping people build confidence, skill, and strength through training. My journey in martial arts began as a teenager when I started training in boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. After taking some time away from training, I found my way back to it a few years ago and have since focused primarily on boxing and kickboxing, including competitive training. Alongside martial arts, I’ve also developed a strong interest in weightlifting, which has helped shape my approach to strength, conditioning, and overall fitness.
My Personal Mantra
Boxing and kickboxing can teach discipline, confidence, resilience, and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
My Training Style Is
I prioritize the fundamentals and believe that learning the basics well creates the foundation for meaningful progress.
My Why
What I love most about coaching is helping people learn skills that can benefit them far beyond the gym.
What Gives Me My Fighting Spirit
Ultimately, I care more about helping people feel stronger, healthier, and more capable than simply helping them change how they look.
Matthew Liang
Biography
I’ve been boxing since 2013 and kickboxing since 2021, originally drawn to both as a way to stay fit while learning a martial art. Over the years, boxing has become much more than just a workout. I love being with a community of people who are challenging themselves, learning something new, and working to become better versions of themselves.
As a coach and personal trainer, I enjoy sharing that experience with others. I find it incredibly rewarding to help someone develop a new skill, become more confident in their movement, and see their fitness improve over time. Whether someone is completely new to boxing or looking to take their training to the next level, my goal is to make training challenging, rewarding, and sustainable.
My Personal Mantra
Level up and evolve. Like a Pokemon. Mastery comes from consistency, patience, and repetition. Learning is a way of life and lifelong process, so seek every opportunity to become better. Small improvements, repeated over time, add up to something significant.
My Training Style Is
I like to train fast, hard, and with 100% effort. But intensity can be detrimental without good technique. Proper development, patience, and learning how to move correctly are essential to staying active and progressing without getting hurt. My goal is to challenge people while also giving them the tools to train intelligently and sustainably.
My Why
I like to eat good food in large quantities. So that needs to be offset with high intensity training. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be. But also, I love that boxing is a physically and mentally engaging way to workout. Exercise is necessary to maintaining health and fitness for a long and happy life, so why not make it fun!
What Gives Me My Fighting Spirit
I don’t train to fight, but I am still fueled by that fighting spirit. I believe everyone can tap into that same fire. So it isn’t necessarily about preparing for a competition or stepping into a ring. Boxing keeps me active, challenges me to keep learning, and provides me the opportunity to contiuously improve. Coaching in my community motivates me to show up, put in the work, enjoy the process, and help the people around me do the same.
Cole Coster
Biography
I’ve been training in boxing for about 12 years. Growing up, soccer was my main sport, and I played in college while using boxing to improve my conditioning and cardio. Over time, boxing became something I genuinely fell in love with and wanted to continue pursuing.
As a coach, I enjoy helping people challenge themselves, get in better shape, and build confidence along the way. My goal is to create an environment that pushes you outside your comfort zone while still keeping things fun, approachable, and consistent.
My Personal Mantra
"If you can get punched in the face over and over and still stay calm, you're chillin."
My Training Style Is
Challenging, and technical, but still casual and approachable. I like to keep the pace consistent, push people outside their comfort zone, and make sure everyone leaves feeling like they accomplished something they didn't think they could.
My Why
My dog. Also, I coach because I love helping people become stronger versions of themselves. Whether that means getting in better shape, building confidence, or simply having a place to challenge yourself and clear your head.
What Gives Me My Fighting Spirit
Showing up when it feels impossible. For me, fighting spirit is about continuing to move forward when things get difficult, staying composed under pressure, and refusing to quit just because something is uncomfortable.
Emma Wolf
Biography
I have always been a person who loves hobbies and trying new things. I have been lifting for a couple years and was looking for something new to pour myself into. When I found boxing I fell in love with it, not only the sport but the community! When I’m not boxing you can find me outside somewhere, drinking coffee, and spending time with my family!
I believe that self confidence comes from taking action even when it is hard, especially when it is hard. I hope I can help people take steps to better themselves and build off of that momentum they create in a way that is challenging but game changing!
My Personal Mantra
"Your strength doesn't come from what you can do; it comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't."
My Training Style Is
Energetic, bold
My Why
I desire to help people not only build skills but also build confidence that you can to take on anything life throws at you.
What Gives Me My Fighting Spirit
Life is beautiful and it is fleeting. I strive to take steps each day to make the most out of every moment and be the best I can be for the people around me.
