What to Expect During a Cardio Kickboxing Class
So, what can you really look forward to in one of our classes? Be prepared for a total-body workout that is challenging, exhilarating, and totally addicting! Cardio kickboxing is a non-contact workout. All punches and kicks are thrown into the air or onto pads. Whether you choose our 30, 45, 60, or 75-minute fitness class, you will:
- Kick-off the class with shadow boxing, cardio drills, and stretches:
Your cardio kickboxing instructor will lead you through drills to get your heart pumping and to prepare your body for kicking and punching the heavy bag!
- Time for the main event: Complete a series of kickboxing rounds with active rest in between: Work through 3-minute rounds where you’ll be coached through a series of kicks or punches on our 100-pound heavy bags.
- End your class with a cool down and ab workout:
Work those abs and wind down from the class with a variety of exercises using our weighted medicine balls. Define your core and cool-down from your awesome workout!
