Choosing a gym to join can be extremely difficult, but here at TITLE Boxing Club Littleton, MA, we try to make it easier. We have an extremely supportive staff that will help you reach your boxing for fitness goals and will help push your body to its limits. We are able to do this by incorporating different workout techniques into one boxing workout. By utilizing a boxer’s workout, you have the ability to burn up to 1000 calories per workout, along with building muscle and sculpting the way you look and feel. We incorporate cardio, boxing, kickboxing, core and strength training all in one workout so that your body experiences an entire body workout. Lifting weights is great, but we want you to also lift yourself to be better each day.
TITLE Boxing Club Littleton, MA wants to spotlight Nicole Howell this month for being an awesome and dedicated member of our family. Nicole has shown tremendous strength during her time at TITLE Boxing Club and continues to push herself every day. TITLE Boxing Club Littleton, MA is not only a gym that is located near her and her family, but a gym that has welcomed and supported her since day one. Here is what Nicole has to say about her story:
I was nine years old when I won two months of free membership to a local karate dojo in a raffle at my elementary school. I was skeptical of how much I would enjoy karate, so I split my winnings with a friend. A month later, I realized what I had won in that raffle: at nine years old I had found a passion. After ten years of dedication and training, I earned my third-degree black belt in Uechi Ryu karate. I not only learned how to punch and kick correctly and how to utilize such training for self defense, but through this training, I became both mentally and physically strong. My sensei instilled within me patience, discipline, respect, and self-confidence. Thirteen years after I won the raffle that started this journey, karate was no longer just an “activity” in my life, but a key piece of my identity. Sadly, just after I graduated college, my dojo closed its doors for good.
For nearly a year I searched, hoping to find something that would fill the void karate left and keep me in good physical shape. I tried joining a gym, but I could not find the motivation or passion I once had in karate. Inevitably, I fell off the workout-wagon for about the thousandth time and decided to try something new. I made a change and went to the boxing gym in the new plaza that I drove past every day. I was instantly hooked (pun absolutely intended) on TITLE, and I had never felt as exhausted and as invigorated as I did after my first kickboxing class. The rigor of the workouts, the intensity of the trainers, and the welcoming spirit of the entire club was a long-overdue change after feeling unfilled in my workout routine for so long. Every class at TITLE is challenging, each trainer brings something unique to their classes, and it’s impossible to be bored or unmotivated when everyone in the TITLE Lit Community works so hard to make the club feel like a family. Much like karate was, my time at TITLE has been, and continues to be, an important part of who I am. I’m ever-grateful to TITLE for giving me an opportunity to pick up where I left off and continue doing something I love after I thought that door had closed. I loved karate. Now, I love TITLE too.
