My Title Boxing Club journey started in early 2019. I hate to even admit this, but it took me two years to actually sign up. I would talk about joining Title Boxing Club constantly but never made the move to do so. There was always an excuse; limited free time, work is too stressful, my dog needs to be walked, membership fee, past sports injuries etc. The excuses were endless. Finally, Christmas of 2018, my dad called up and purchased an unlimited two-week package after listening to me talk about it. My dad is one of the main reasons I grew up playing sports. He, rightfully, believes there’s nothing more important than the fitness of your body and mind. The mental toughness you gain from playing sports is not something that can be learned from a book. It teaches you resilience, leadership, teamwork, accountability, and so much more. The reason why I’m writing this is because, at that time, I had lost all of my mental fortitude. I fell victim to adulting. Everyday minutiae and anxiety started to take over and self-care and focus were gone. Continuing with Title Boxing Club Littleton was probably one of the best decisions I made. For years, I donated my money to a multitude of gym memberships that either didn’t hold my interest or old injuries would resurface and I wouldn’t bother to cancel. I was afraid Title Boxing Club would be just another gym donation. I’m proud to say that after a couple of years and a global pandemic I’m still showing up! The trainers and staff go above and beyond to make the Title Boxing Club feel like home. They are supportive, knowledgeable, motivating and hopefully realize that my eye rolls after burpees is a sign of endearment. What I love most about the Title Boxing Club work-out is how it refocuses your mindset. You can walk in completely defeated from your day but leave feeling confident that tomorrow will be better. We all want to end our day with a glass of wine BUT most days what you really need is to hit that bag!
