My name is Lori and I have been a member of Title Boxing for over 5 years. Why did I join? I was bored with my same workout and wanted something that challenged me and was fun. A couple of friends had tried Title Boxing Littleton and posted a link on Facebook to try a ” free class” . A Groupon ad also came on my screen for Title Boxing in Littleton. I bought the trial pass and presented it to the GM. Little did I know I was out $50 since the pass was for Littleton, CO! I did get the free class though, bought wraps and a set of gloves, and signed up!
I find boxing has become a great stress release for me. Sure, I’ve had a couple injuries over the years for pushing myself too much on other activities which required putting my membership on hold. You may see me modifying some of the exercises because of a bad right knee. All the instructors have their own unique style. Don’t get frustrated if you cannot keep up. Do a few jab crosses until the instructor has you do something else. Modifying is key until you catch on. Don’t give up as I’ve now done close to 600 classes…..
