Before and After

If I can do it, so can you.

I’d love to share my entire story about how I went from corporate America to personal trainer, as I’m confident – in one way or another – you’ll relate. But for now, I will only share a few highlights that may help you take your first step – or next step – to realizing what you’re capable of.

Long story short… I lost more than 50 pounds, got rid of my aches and pains, became consistent with my nutrition and exercise regimen, got really strong (mind and body), became a role model for my children, reduced my body fat to top athlete levels, and once and for all, I got off the proverbial roller coaster and recognized my full potential.

I accomplished these things all while raising my family and working in corporate America… and TITLE Boxing Club was, and continues to be, the place that made it all possible.

The most common question I’m asked:
“How long did it take you to lose the weight?”

My answer: “I’m not really sure. It’s been a process… and while it started with a number on the scale the journey turned out to be so much more. All I can tell you for sure is that it started 5 years ago.”

Shortly after I found TITLE, my mindset stopped circulating around how fast I could lose a specific number of pounds. I religiously attended 3-5 Power Hour classes a week and always worked very hard. It was the scariest, hardest thing I ever attempted. During the first 3 months, I ‘tossed my cookies’ a lot, I was sore all the time, I was a little embarrassed and I was very clumsy. I was busy traveling for work and raising my family but found a way to make it to class… no matter what.

This time was different. I knew in my heart my effort would finally be worth it. So, I kept at it.

It didn’t take me long to begin personal training to help me feel even stronger and more confident while hitting the bag in class. Best thing I ever did. I wanted the one-on-one instruction to hone my boxing skills, I wanted to ‘expand’ my class time and for heaven’s sake, I wanted to know how to use my feet! And 5 years later, I’m still at it… twice a week! Thank you, Greg for teaching me everything I know. I absolutely love training our members to become strong, lighter and more confident. I appreciate your unwavering support and guidance through the years.

In a nutshell…
In the first year: I showed up to classes, I lost some weight and figured out how to manage my busy life, eat smarter and get to TITLE even when it wasn’t convenient or I didn’t feel like it. Year two: I rode the wave of feeling great. I lost more weight, began toning my muscles and became even more dedicated to my well-being. Eating right and exercising helped settle my mind, it brought order to my chaotic schedule and I was the most effective I had ever been at the office and at home. Year three: I decided to mix up my training regimen and hone my nutrition plan. My physique had noticeably changed and I felt incredible. Year four: I became a TITLE trainer and continued my workouts and eating right. During this year, I had the opportunity to leave corporate America and I took it. I also became certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer and Nutrition Coach and to this day continue my same workouts, personal training and nutrition plan.

The day I stopped looking for the quick fix was the day I won the war. And today, I feel privileged to offer my own experience and my education to TITLE members in hopes it will help you to realize… anything is possible if you want it bad enough.

To all TITLE members who have similar aspirations but need both support and guidance to realize what’s possible, remember. Come talk to me. Whatever your limitations, experience level, lifestyle, challenges or goals might be… it’s absolutely time for us to work together and get you on your way to realizing what you can accomplish.
