I started my journey at Title Boxing less than 3 months ago. Having Rheumatoid Arthritis, comes medication that, at times can cause weight gain. I was put on a high dose prednisone to stop the progression of my RA. My self esteem was low as well as my energy. Making the decision to walk through the doors at Title changed my life in so many ways. I’m not going to lie , I was terrified. Thankfully, I had nothing to be afraid of. I immediately became part of a family at Title. I was looking to not only lose the weight , but find myself again. I needed more energy to chase after my children and granddaughter. I needed strength. I wanted to be able to look in the mirror again without being sad. I began to work and continue to work with a personal trainer to help me achieve my goals. I started out with smaller, more realistic goals . This helped me to not get overwhelmed. I said 30lbs by June 1st. Being almost 48 years old , I didn’t think it was possible. I made it through my first class and immediately got hooked. Punching that bag for 8 rounds helps me get through the day. I am able to release all that negative energy from the day before and start the day fresh and open minded. I often find myself saying now….”I need to go punch the bag”!! Title is a judgment free zone. I am 3 weeks away from my 30lb goal and I’m already at 27lbs down. I went from a size 10 to a size 6 in no time. I am already setting my next goal. I’m not afraid anymore and I love looking at myself in the mirror. Title has transformed my body in such a short period of time. I am stronger, happier, and smaller than when I started. I found myself again and it feels amazing!!
