On a typical week, I work anywhere from 45-50hrs and 11hr days. Since I had limited days to make it to the gym, I pushed myself through 1,2, and sometimes 3 classes a day. At first my goal was weight loss, but throughout TITLE’s 45 day challenge, I learned a lot more about myself and my limits as a man, husband, and father. Having a daughter with special needs and seeing how hard she works 8 times a week in multiple therapies, I wanted her to know dad is working hard to be healthier and stronger for his girl.
I would say my biggest successes throughout the 45 days was not only the 7lbs lost but the 3% body fat lost! Losing fat, seeing muscles I’d never seen, and going from a 36 to a 32 waist is the real success. My clothes no longer fitting means more to me than the number on the scale. The best part about this challenge wasn’t just seeing the limits I could push with the classes at TITLE, but what NEW limits I can go to. I’m now taking on the Nashville Half Marathon in a couple of months! Thank you Title Boxing Club for this new fire that burns inside of me to push my limits.
