An incredible 55lbs weight loss: Nancy H.

For most of my life I have been an athletic person and engaged in many different sports. My diet, for the most part, is healthy; I eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, and no red meat. My protein meals are mostly chicken/turkey and other low fat foods. But processed carbs, especially sweets, have always been my kryptonite. The past eight out of the last ten years I mostly lead a sedentary lifestyle that saw my lithe, feel-like-a-model weight of 145 pounds (I’m big boned, lol), mushroom up to 213 pounds – yikes!

To fight this weight gain I tried everything! Yes, I’ve spent a lot of money on gyms, fitness DVDs, boot camp programs, personal trainers and so on, but the weight just kept exploding!

My first time at TITLE Boxing Club Nanuet, I was naturally skeptical of it being just ‘another gym,’ but I decided to take advantage of a free first class and see for myself. Vitaly, the General Manager at TITLE, said that to truly achieve the results I wanted so badly and lose weight I would need to train three times a week and make some adjustments to my eating habits. I am so glad that I followed his advice, because the regiment has yielded results for me! Now my weight hovers around 160 pounds (an amazing 53 pound weight loss)!

My fitness journey continues as I have the last stubborn 10 pounds to lose. I understand that with advancing age it takes a little more effort, but I am optimistic about my prospects.

This feeling of accomplishment, not to mention being able to wear the clothes that I like, is the reward that motivates me to continue. I love the trainers and staff at TITLE Boxing Club. They push me to excel and maximize my optimal health potential!
