What made you decide to join? I joined TITLE Boxing Club after my best friend’s wedding. We got a picture together and had an awesome night but when I woke up the next morning and looked through the pictures, I didn’t recognize the person in them.
What were your goals when you started? My goals in the beginning were just to lose some weight so I could still eat whatever I wanted.
Where are you at now with those goals? When I started at TITLE Boxing Club I was around 280lbs and my body fat percentage was around 45%. Today I am down to 200lbs and 23% body fat and I feel better than I ever thought I would.
What is your favorite thing about TITLE? The work out and the dedication of all the members is probably my favorite thing. I’ve seen people on their first day struggling to throw a punch and a month later I see them and they look like they’ve been doing it for years.
Do you have a favorite instructor? I could play favorites but I honestly enjoy all the instructors because they all offer a vastly different work out and that variety really helps keep things interesting and enjoyable.
Any tips for new members? Stick with it. It can difficult to stick to your routine and it’s really easy to just say “I’ll go tomorrow” but if you push yourself and put in the work, you’ll feel a lot better about yourself.
