KNOCKING OUT BAD HABITS

It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are. -E. E. Cummings

Every time March rolls around all anyone can think about is SPRING BREAK. As a kid, don’t you remember that feeling of getting a week vacay with no homework, no drama, no tests. Just some good old fashion f-u-n with the fam. (If you liked your fam!)

Even as adults, spring brings such a shift of perspective and priorities. The weather begins to lift—and the moods go along with it. People and flowers come out of hibernation and the world starts to hum again.

Whatever season of life you are in, know that you can start over every single morning. Kids do. They wake up not festering on the past years of their life and they are excited to discover a world of possibilities. They are not afraid to try new things or fail.

Remember: weekends make up a third of the year. Don’t let your progress Monday through Thursday slip with poor eating and sleeping Friday-Sunday.

It’s time for an adult Spring Break(through).

We are almost 90 days into 2020 and chances are your routine could use some spring cleaning. Take a scan of your body. What hurts? Can you stretch more? Maybe you’re looking to tone up your arms and PT is just the ticket to advance your results. Or, you could be stuck in a rut of poor eating choices on the weekend and you need to add a Saturday morning class into your schedule. Remember: weekends make up a third of the year. Don’t let your progress Monday through Thursday slip with poor eating and sleeping Friday-Sunday.

TRY THESE THREE HABITS THIS MONTH TO CREATE YOUR SPRING BREAK(THROUGH):

  1. Get eight hours of sleep. Believe it or not, your sleep matters. And, it’s especially key when building muscle and burning fat. Turn off your devices and turn on quality sleep.
  2. Win the weekends. Skip the alcohol and go for a walk with friends instead of hitting the town. Swap your sugary fix at brunch for eggs and avocado toast and you’re two good decisions away from a bloat-free Monday.
  3. Plan your workouts. This one seems simple but selecting your classes before the week starts and booking an appointment with yourself is our favorite accountability habits. Plus, if you bring a friend to one of the classes, your chances of showing up rise to practically 100% and you’ll have double the fun!

Best of all, in honor of your spring-cleaning routine with your healthy habits, we are opening our doors for a ONE WEEK FREE pass to all new first timers this month.
