TITLE Boxing Club corporate team member, Kenny Greer, is a passionate go-getter with an obsession for innovation and fine-tuning the most authentic boxing workout in the world. He began his journey with the brand while searching for a franchise to get involved with, knowing nothing about boxing at the time, he was fascinated by the idea and ended up opening his own TITLE Boxing Club. Now 8 years later, he’s owned 7 clubs at various times and has played a handful of roles on the corporate team, most recently, he stepped into the position of Senior Director of Product. Over the years Kenny has offered a great deal of value to the brand with his visionary mindset and motivating personality, however, he attributes his biggest accomplishment as being the creator of “Boxology”.
Boxology is the training program implemented by franchisees in the organization, as a way to provide a consistent workout across all clubs and manage the product. “At one point I realized that TITLE is way more than a workout, it’s an experience,” Kenny told us when describing his inspiration for Boxology. The experience has more to do with the person teaching the class, the atmosphere in the club, and the friends people make within the community. He felt that as long as trainers understood what exactly the workout needed to include then they could have the creative freedom to make it unique. “It helps trainers to be different while being the same,” he explained. Once mastering Boxology, which was designed to highlight everyone’s favorite parts of a class, trainers can showcase their specific skills and teaching style in front of the bag, allowing members to get to know their personalities and enjoy their individuality. “Our trainers are rock stars and I believe that’s one of the reasons we have such a loyal member base,” Kenny concluded.
Kenny believes that along with Boxolgy, there are several additional components that separate us from other fitness brands. He describes our unique product as consisting of three key elements: the workout, driving engagement, and building a community, “I don’t want you to just walk out of our clubs sweating, I want you to walk out sweating and smiling….and not only do I want you to walk out sweating and smiling but I want you to walk out sweating and smiling, with a friend.” He loves the fitness industry because it empowers people and positively affects their lives. “We are inclusive, it provides a constant opportunity for motivation and a personalized experience for our amazing members,” he explained.
In addition to loving the vibe and community of TITLE, Kenny harps on the value of utilizing boxing as a form of exercise. “Boxing is something you cannot become the best at, you can always get better and always sharpen your skill”, he passionately told us. “People don’t realize they’re getting better and becoming more skilled with every class they take, all while burning more calories than ever,” he then proclaimed. His love for the sport has grown immensely in the last 8 years, as he continues to realize more ways to develop and innovate the most authentic boxing workout. Let’s just say you haven’t heard the last of Kenny Greer! He plans to continue dominating as Senior Director of Product, one punch at a time.
