Start Your Day Right: A Healthy Breakfast Made Easy

Breakfast is known as the most important meal of the day. And while that is true, it’s also the easiest meal to mix-in added sugar and ingredients that won’t benefit you throughout the day.

Breakfast fuels your body with the energy it needs to perform. Whether you have a workout in the morning, a long day at work or kids to get ready and drop off, we’ve got the breakfast recipes to knockout the beginning of your day!

Healthy doesn’t equals complicated that’s why we have some quick, easy, healthy and most importantly, tasty recipes to start your day off with a one-two-punch!

Cinnamon Egg Whites with Fruit – This might sound like a crazy combination, but there’s a reason it’s number one on our list. Combine egg whites in a bowl with cinnamon and whisk. Pour into a skillet and scramble until cooked. Once the eggs are done, top with fruit (we like strawberries and blueberries). Drizzle some almond butter on top and enjoy!

Hardboiled Eggs with a Jab – Eggs are a great source of protein. Protein will help you stay full until lunch. Take three hardboiled eggs. Take the yoke out if you want less cholesterol. Salt and pepper to taste. Now for the kick, add your favorite hot sauce! Hot sauce gets the heartrate up and that metabolism working. Avocado also makes a great addition to this and adds healthy fat.

Breakfast Muffins – These are great to make ahead on the weekend when meal prepping so you can grab and go out the door in the morning. Mix oats, baking powder and a little salt with ingredients you prefer. Ripe bananas, peanut or almond butter, honey and cinnamon. You can mix in fruit for some added sweetness or chocolate chips if you want a bit of indulgence.
