Born and raised in upstate NY, where my roots in martial arts started at the age of 5. With 100 amateur fights and a #1 rank in the country in 2007, I decided it was time to start my professional boxing career. Signed with Oscar De La Hoya’s “Golden Boy Promotion” and in November of 2007, I had my pro debut at Madison Square Garden. Amounting a record of 20-1, I look forward to bringing my knowledge and experience to Title Boxing Club, Arden Hills.

I’m Josie, and I absolutely love everything about the boxing workout! After I found TITLE, I seriously don’t know what I’d do without it. I’ve always been a runner and dabbled in lifting weights, but nothing is as exhilarating as a KO!
I have 3 teenagers, 2 still at home, 1 on her own. I love to spend time with my family, watch baseball, dance and travel. My husband and I try to travel twice a year. My favorite things are red wine, coffee with cream, and meals I don’t have to cook!

My why: My mental health...exercise is a proven method for treating anxiety and depression. Training is not just for the body; it also allows our minds and souls to be healthy and strong.

I was born and raised in the Twin Cities. I have 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Growing up, I was a normal kid. I played high school football in all 4 years. Fitness was a part of my life but it didn’t become a lifestyle until after high school. I got into boxing right after high school. Besides boxing, I also got into aikido, hapkido, taekwondo, and some traditional kung-fu. In 2009, I met a great man that taught me kickboxing as well as weapons fighting. He became a major part of my martial arts upbringing. From then on, I mainly focused on boxing, kickboxing, and weapons fighting. My boxing growth comes from training at Believers Boxing Gym. In 2016, I saw a job posting for Title Boxing on Craigslist. I reached out and got the job. I love Title Boxing because of the bond with the members. It’s great to see them get stronger and improve. Not only do I help them, they also help me get better. I love to spend time with my family. I actually met the love of my life at Title Boxing and got married. We have 2 beautiful children. Outside of Title Boxing and training, I enjoy archery, hunting, firearms, and outdoor activities such as camping and hiking.
My personal mantra: I may have been weak when I was younger, but every day I try and never quit to be stronger; now I shall fight and lose no longer - Yeng Xiong

What gives me my fighting spirit: Heart and Passon

Outside the gym you can find me with my amazing husband of over 10 years, our two energetic kids, and two rescue dogs. I’m a New York native who’s not afraid to be loud and fight for what I want. A few of my favorite things include coffee, Hallmark movies, and kicking these heavy bags.

Originally from Milwaukee before I moved to the Twin Cities area. I have always played sports and love to compete. Ever since that day I’ve been active and learning the ‘Sweet Science’ of boxing and am looking forward to continuing to grow!
My personal mantra: Can't control how the cards are dealt to me, but I can control how I play them!
My training style is: Authentic
My why: I hate losing more than I like winning. I want to challenge myself and be the best Marvin I can be.
What gives me my fighting spirit: Comes from the work ethic instilled in me by my grandparents. Don't give up and push through. It's not where you start, but where you finish.
What’s up guys! My full name is Sabas Faz Carreon. I have a little princess that I love very much and was born 2-18-18 (you can calculate how old she is. Lol). I enjoy the outdoors and fall is my season. I was fortunate enough to walk through Title boxing Arden hills at the beginning of 2017. Throughout my teens I did multiple Combat and MMA sports from Karate (1 year), wrestling (1 year) Kickboxing (1 year), but none compared to boxing. I love coaching and helping individuals meet, achieve, and surpass any goals they have inside the gym and outside the gym. I like, nah let me reword that, I love Title Boxing Arden Hills just because it hits different. It is not your typical gym, it’s a gym where you feel at home, welcomed, motivated, excited, pumped, and simply good vibes all around. Yo, lets hit it hard together!

I’ve heard the classes are intense; do I need to be in great shape to do the workouts?
It doesn’t matter if you haven’t worked out in a while or have never boxed before, you can finish the workout feeling great! You’ll see that everyone goes at their own pace, but believe us that once you’re here, you’ll be inspired to give it your very best!
I don’t want to get hit; is this a contact workout?
No—not ever! Each person in class has their own heavy bag to workout on, plus their own space to move around the bag. Trust us, you won’t even realize anyone else is in the class because you’ll be so focused on the workout! And, rest easy, we never allow sparring or fighting at TITLE Boxing Club.
What makes TITLE different than other fitness studios?
Boxing is a great workout, perhaps one of the most challenging of all sports, and we want to bring you the intensity of the training, minus the impact. We’ll teach you how to roll with the punches by pushing you further than you thought possible.
I’m new to boxing; will someone show me the basics?
You bet! All of our classes are taught by instructors who will show you the ropes from the beginning. We’ll help you wrap your hands and walk you through the basic fundamentals. Everyone in class is at a different level, so take a deep breath and go at your own pace!
Can I bring my children with me?
We do not offer childcare services at TITLE Boxing Club. However, children over the age of eight are welcome to work out with you here and join as a member! Ask us about our Family Membership options.
What do I need to bring to class? How early do I need to arrive?
Hand wraps are essential for your protection and mandatory for class. You can bring your own or buy them here. We’ll have gloves for you to borrow your first time, and you might want to bring a bottle of water and towel! Plan on arriving 20 minutes early so we can get you settled and wrap your hands.
I’ve never hit anything before. Will I hurt myself?
For a beginner, the most important thing is to learn the proper form. The good news is that we’ll teach you! As you progress, you’ll be able to throw several variations of punches from different positions and develop your own punching technique to fit your style. People are usually surprised at how much they love hitting the heavy bag!
