Blake

BLAKE THE FIREMAN
Blake Is someone who has come a long way in his fitness career. After accepting a full-ride scholarship to a Division 2 HBCU to play football, he fell in love with boxing. He used the sport of boxing as a cross-training tool to get him ready for every season while playing. He has been teaching boxing for several years and still thinks of himself as a student, always wanting to learn more.

My personal mantra:
“Take it, hone it, make it your own.”

My training style is:
authentic

My why:
To see someone come in who has never thrown a punch and afterward leave with the confidence and knowledge that they can do whatever they put their mind to.

What gives me my fighting spirit:

Erion

Erion began taking Shotokan karate at the age of twelve. At eighteen, he received his black belt in karate and later studied other traditional martial arts such as Ninjitsu and Bei Shaolin Kung Fu. At 21, he joined the Memphis Police Boxing team, where he began his amateur boxing and kickboxing career. In 2007 he became the IKF welterweight kickboxing champion and later shifted his focus towards mixed martial arts. Aside from his career inside the cage as a professional MMA fighter, Erion is perhaps most noted for his career “outside the cage” as the MATA Security Guard fighter. Erion uses his experience both inside and outside of the cage to teach practical applications for every level of athlete.

My personal mantra:
If you quit in the gym, you'll quit in the fight. If you quit in the fight, you'll quit in life.

My training style is:
authentic

My why:
I was fortunate enough to have great coaches throughout my life to impart their knowledge and experience to me to become the best athlete I could be. I want to help others achieve their goals by passing on the same knowledge that was given to me by my coaches and mentors.

What gives me my fighting spirit:
My competitive nature

Ty

Coach Ty grew up in the sports world as a child. A 5 sport athlete (baseball, basketball, football, track, and boxing). He won the Georgia Gold Gloves as an amateur boxer. Ty accepted a football scholarship to the University of Memphis. He also played his final year of collegiate football at the University of West Georgia. After a short stint playing professional football, Coach Ty decided that investing in others would fulfill his spirit. Coaching and sparring top amateur and professional boxers became his calling. He brings the same energy to fitness and coaching that he had as a professional athlete.

My personal mantra:
"It Starts Within"

My training style is:
authentic

My why:
Because we all deserve great things and positive mindsets, encouraging others and yourself goes a long way. Building a strong mental and emotional stability that translates over into the physical world for many. Positive changes amongst many. Achieving the unbelievable.

What gives me my fighting spirit:
My loved ones and building generational success for years to come for them.

Bryan

Bryan is no stranger when it comes to the sports world. He started playing and competing in sports at an early age. He accepted a full athletic scholarship to Penn State University to play football and was selected in the 2003 NFL Draft in the 2nd Round by the Atlanta Falcons. Bryan played a total of 10 Seasons for the Falcons, Saints, and Bills.  The same passion that he played the game with is channeled into every single class he teaches.

My personal mantra:
Make it Great and Pass it Forward

My training style is:
authentic

My why:
I have been blessed with the presence of incredibly positive people around me my entire life. In their individual ways, they have been my source of motivation, support and creativity. I find great value in that. In return, I always wanted to create that same value for those who did not have it, or simply share it with those who could benefit. Instead of just wishing the best for others, this is my opportunity to provide that platform.

What gives me my fighting spirit:
Family and Friends.... to continually make them proud :)

Gina

Gina started at TITLE Boxing Club several years ago as a member. For Gina, TITLE isn’t about the perfect weight or the perfect body, although boxing helps achieve those goals. Boxing is about feeling strong, being strong. It’s about feeling empowered and confident. Her classes are about challenging yourself both mentally and physically. She focuses on the core of your body so that every punch you throw sends out strength and energy, from the balls of your feet to the ends of your knuckles.

“I want you to walk away knowing that you left everything you had on that bag. Internally you know that you rose to the occasion and succeeded with challenging yourself.”- Gina R.

My personal mantra:
Never Stop Challenging Yourself

My training style is:
Connected

My why:
Boxing offered a new skill for me, and sharing that with others makes me feel good.

What gives me my fighting spirit:
My son and daughter, they inspire me.

FAQ's

I’ve heard the classes are intense; do I need to be in great shape to do the workouts?

It doesn’t matter if you haven’t worked out in a while or have never boxed before, you can finish the workout feeling great! You’ll see that everyone goes at their own pace, but believe us that once you’re here, you’ll be inspired to give it your very best!

I don’t want to get hit; is this a contact workout?

No—not ever! Each person in class has their own heavy bag to workout on, plus their own space to move around the bag. Trust us, you won’t even realize anyone else is in the class because you’ll be so focused on the workout! And, rest easy, we never allow sparring or fighting at TITLE Boxing Club.

What makes TITLE different than other fitness studios?

Boxing is a great workout, perhaps one of the most challenging of all sports, and we want to bring you the intensity of the training, minus the impact. We’ll teach you how to roll with the punches by pushing you further than you thought possible.

I’m new to boxing; will someone show me the basics?

You bet! All of our classes are taught by instructors who will show you the ropes from the beginning. We’ll help you wrap your hands and walk you through the basic fundamentals. Everyone in class is at a different level, so take a deep breath and go at your own pace!

Can I bring my children with me?

We do not offer childcare services at TITLE Boxing Club. However, children over the age of eight are welcome to work out with you here and join as a member! Ask us about our Family Membership options.

What do I need to bring to class? How early do I need to arrive?

Hand wraps and gloves are essential for your protection and mandatory for class. If you have some bring 'em, If you don't, no worries. We sell all equipment at the club. Make sure to also bring a bottle of water and a towel! Plan on arriving 20-30 minutes early so we can get you settled and wrap your hands.

I’ve never hit anything before. Will I hurt myself?

For a beginner, the most important thing is to learn the proper form. The good news is that we’ll teach you! As you progress, you’ll be able to throw several variations of punches from different positions and develop your own punching technique to fit your style. People are usually surprised at how much they love hitting the heavy bag!

Can I try a class before joining?

Of course you can take classes before purchasing a membership. We have drop-in rates for single classes, three or six classes. These are great for people who travel often or want to try us out. You can choose our best value option and commit to a membership any time.

Do you have showers?

We do have a private shower for you to clean up after your workout and please bring any essentials you may need!
